Sky at Night February 2012 magazine

Remember this shot from last year? Well, it made it into this month’s Sky at Night magazine in the Hotshots CD section, which is nice because its the Patrick Moore memorial cover. The image is of our Sun showing an active sunspot region from September last year. Quite literally a hot shot. Solar stuff is actually my favourite because its forever changing. I’ve only ever sent 3 photos in and don’t normally check this section. Now I’m not letting my ego go to my head but I should probably be hosting the show or at least a talk at the International Astronomy Show in May seeing as this is actually my second image in this magazine.
